Beautiful Sunset in February

It has been about two months now since I broke my ankle and I am finally able to get around a bit. After being stuck indoors it is really nice to take a few photos. I definately missed being outside. The two images below have been taken from the parkway (not too far to walk from the car). I felt so alive when I was taking these images below, it makes me eagre to get out more since I now have a walking cast.

Wedding Photography 2009

It was a great season for wedding photography! We were blessed with amazing couples and enjoyed celebrating their big day with them, their friends and families. We're just finishing up editing the last wedding images and would like to wish all of our Brides and Grooms Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year.

This photo has been chosen by Canadian Geographic as the winner of this week's Photo of the Week contest. The image was taken in 2006 and also it was the last time that I captured lightning. Portrait of my Deer Friends

I was out for a walk on one of my favourite trails in Ottawa's West end and I came across my deer friends ... ;) It is one of those subjects that I never get tired of. The thrill of sneaking up behind them or trying to see them before they see you. It is pretty exciting! They are usually kind enough to give me a quick pose before they dash off.

It was wonderful to spend Sunday afternoon with this lovely family. From the mom & dad to the little one, they did great! They smiled, laughed and played all the way which made the photo session pretty fun. Below are some of my favourites.
