Earth Hour

.
We turned off all of our lights at home and headed for downtown. It was interesting and kind of surprising to see how many buildings and places ignored earth hour, but it was nice to see Parliament lights off. Many people gathered at the hill with candles and there were quite a few photographers as well. It was a good night... we had fun.

Wow!!!
Regional Contact (CTV) is doing a show about us!!!

They filmed us all day Tuesday March 18th. We started at the Arboretum with snowshoeing and by noon they came to visit our gallery and studio at home. Both Joel (the host of Regional Contact) and Randy (the cameraman) were very delightful to work with. They made the day enjoyable and we can't wait to see the show, which will air on April 5th! CLICK HERE about the show.

SNOW... SNOW... SNOW... and more snow!
.

We were snowshoeing last week-end, and when you go through the trail, you will see all kinds of birds singing, in spite of winter and how long it is. I had a good time walking in the trail and it was nice to see all these birds in good spirits, you could feel that spring is just around the corner.

I put the self timer on and ran over 7 metres with snowshoes on to be in this shot, not bad for an old man.
